It’s an end of an era for one of the Bundesliga giants.

“As of today one thing is certain, that my story with Bayern Munich is over and after everything that took place in recent months I cannot imagine further good cooperation…I am aware that the transfer will be the the best solution for both parties,” said Lewandowski.
“I believe that Bayern will not stop me (forcibly) just because it has the opportunity.”
The 33-year old has reportedly had reportedly been looking to move on from quite a while, and has agreed to a new three-year deal with FC Barcelona. He is hoping that Bayern Munich obliges on his wishes and makes this go as smoothly as possible.
Lewandowski has scored 238 goals and 253 combined appearances in his tenure with the German powerhouse, and is fresh off a season where he led Bundesliga with 35 goals in 34 caps.
