Lionel Messi heading to MLS to play for Inter Miami in 2023?

One of the biggest soccer stars of all time is heading to North America.

According to reports, Argentinian soccer sensation will play for MLS club Inter Miami after his current contract with Ligue 1 powerhouse Paris Saint-Germain expires in June 2023. The deal would then be finalized in August of the year.

As part of the agreement, Messi will reportedly reserve a massive 35% ownership stake, which is currently valued at approximately $225 million.

However, nothing is close to being finalized, and Messi has gone far as straight up denying the rumours as “fake news” in recent days.

The 34-year old has won seven Ballon D’Or awards as best player in the world over his illustrious 17 year pro career.
