Patriots sign former Broncos receiver Demaryius Thomas

The New England Patriots are adding a reliable veteran receiver for Tom Brady to throw to in 2019.

The team announced Tuesday that they have signed Demaryius Thomas to a one-year contract that can be worth up to $6 million.

The 31-year old has accumulated 672 receptions for 9,154 yards, and 62 touchdowns over a span of nine NFL seasons and 127 games split between the Broncos and a short stint with the Houston Texans.
