Larry Fitzgerald passes Tony Gonzalez to move into second place on the NFL’s all-time receptions list
Drew Brees reached another milestone in his illustrious NFL career.
After catching five passes for 47 yards in the Arizona Cardinals’ 27-10 loss to the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday, he surpassed the legendary Tony Gonzalez to move into second all-time in NFL receptions.
The 36-year old, who is currently playing in his 16th NFL season, has accumulated 1326 receptions to go along with 16,579 receiving yards and 118 touchdowns over a span of 238 career games.
He now needs 224 more receptions to move past Jerry Rice for most of all-time. He is also in second place behind rice for all-time receiving yards, and needs to accumulate 6317 of those to surpass him in that category.
