Buccaneers receiver Chris Godwin to miss rest of regular season with MCL sprain
As if getting shut out against a Divisional rival wasn’t bad enough for the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.
The team has learned that star receiver Chris Godwin will be sidelined for the final three games of the season after suffering an MCL sprain during a 9-0 loss to the New Orleans Saints on Sunday night.
Godwin sustained the injury after getting hit by P.J. Williams while trying to make a catch in the middle of the field.
The 25-year old leads the team with 98 receptions and 1103 receiving yards over 14 games this season.
