Bills ink QB Josh Allen to lucrative six-year contract extension
The Buffalo Bills are rewarding Josh Allen with a big payday after he led them to the AFC Championship for the first time since 1993.
The team announced that they have inked their starting quarterback to a massive six-year, $258 million contract extension that features $150 million in guaranteed money.
The deal gives him the most guaranteed money in a contract in NFL history, and will put him second in the league annual average income ($43 million a season). He only trails Kansas City Chiefs superstar QB Patrick Mahomes in that department.
Allen, 25, has amassed a 28-15 record, 836 pass completions for 9707 passing yards, 67 touchdowns, and 31 interceptions throughout three seasons and 44 combined games with the franchise.
