Bears fire head coach Matt Nagy after four seasons
It’s the end of an underwhelming era in Chicago.
According to reports, the Chicago Bears are set to announce the firing of head coach Matt Nagy in the coming days.
The 43-year old, who had been officially hired in January 2018, led the team to a combined 34-31 regular season record during his four season tenure.
The Bears also qualified for the postseason two different times in that span, both of which resulted in NFC Wild Card game losses.
The news comes less than a day after the conclusion of the 2021 NFL season, which saw Chicago finish third in the NFC North with a 6-11 record.
