Wizards trade Russell Westbrook to Lakers in massive blockbuster deal

It looks like the Los Angeles Lakers have formed a big 3 of their own to match the Brooklyn Nets!

The team announced on Thursday that they have acquired All-Star point guard Russell Westbrook and 2024 and 2028 second-round picks from the Washington Wizards in exchange for Kyle Kuzma, Kentavious Caldwell-Pope, Montrezl Harrell and the rights to their 2021 first round pick Isaiah Jackson.

Westbrook, who grew up in the Los Angeles area, is ecstatic to be coming home.
