The Los Angeles Lakers need Anthony Davis on the court if they have any chance at winning this series against the Phoenix Suns. And when he went down and left the game during Sunday’s loss, it really caused a stir among Lakers fans and the organization itself.
Well we still don’t know the seriousness of his injury, but we do know he is considering day-to-day with a left groin strain. He will undergo further evaluation today to determine his status moving forward.
Davis, who was limited to just 36 games this season due to bouts with a calf strain and Achilles tendinosis, has averaged 21.8 points, 8.0 rebounds and 3.0 assists so far this series.
The Lakers and Suns are all tied up at 2-2 in the series. Game 5 takes place at 10pm/ET on June 1.
