Blue Jays players Vladimir Guerrero Jr, Marcus Semien and Teoscar Hernandez take home 2021 Silver Slugger Awards

Toronto Blue Jays players keep on taking home more hardware.

The MLB has announced that first baseman Vladimir Guerrero Jr., second baseman Marcus Semien and outfielder Teoscar Hernandez were among the names announced as recipients of this year’s Silver Slugger Awards.

The award is given annually to the best offensive player at each position (infield, outfield, catcher) in both the American and National League.

Guerrero Jr, and Semien both had career years at the plate and were each named as finalists for the American League MVP Award, which will be announced on November 18.

Hernandez has won the Silver Slugger Award for a second consecutive year.
