Blue Jays come back from five-run deficit to cap off impressive 9-2 homestand
The Toronto Blue Jays have been firing on all cylinders since returning to the Rogers Centre.
After yesterday’s thrilling come-from-behind win, they finished their first homestand north of the border with a 9-2 record. On top of that, they are now only three games back from both wild card spots!
They were trailing 7-2 at one point and crawled their way back within two heading into the bottom of the eight. That is when the magic happened. And by magic I mean a massive three-run homer by the $150 million man himself George Springer.
