Astros shortstop Carlos Correa out 4-6 weeks with broken rib
The injuries keep on piling up for the Houston Astros.
The team announced Wednesday that All-Star shortstop Carlos Correa will be sidelined for the next 4-6 weeks after suffering a fractured rib in his home the previous day.
Astros president of baseball operations and GM Jeff Luhnow refused to comment further on the specifics of the injury.
The 24-year old has hit .295 with 11 homers, 35 RBI and a .907 OPS in 50 games this season.
