Jets win Le’Veon Bell sweepstakes

Le’Veon Bell will be wearing the white-and-green for the foreseeable future.

The New York Jets confirmed on Tuesday that they have signed the veteran free agent running back to a four-year, $52.5 million with $35 million guaranteed and a max value of $61 million if he hits all of his performance incentives

The 27-year old will be returning to action for the first time since the 2017 season after sitting out for all of 2018 due to a contract dispute with the Pittsburgh Steelers.

The three-time Pro Bowler has posted 1,229 carries for 5,336 rushing yards, 312 receptions for 2,660 receiving yards and 42 combined touchdowns over a span of five NFL seasons and 62 games, all with the Steelers organization.

Bell expressed his excitement with the signing on Twitter.
