Team Canada announces roster for 2022 World Juniors

Well it’s official!

Hockey Canada formally unveiled their roster for the upcoming 2022 World Junior Ice Hockey Championships coming up later this month.

Among the players that made the cut are a highly touted 16-year old and a Winnipeg Jets prospect with 50 pro games under his belt.

Here is the roster:

The tournament will take place in Edmonton and Red Deer, Alberta from Dec. 26, 2021, to January 5, 2022.

Canada will open up the tourney with a game against the Czech Republic at Rogers Place on Boxing Day.

They will hope to avenge their heartbreaking 2-0 loss to the United States in the gold medal game last year.
