Kings forward Dustin Brown will retire after the Stanley Cup playoffs
The 2021 Stanley Cup Playoffs will be the last time you’ll see Dustin Brown on an NHL rink.
The Kings confirmed that the veteran forward will call it quits after the team is either eliminated from the playoffs or wins the Stanley Cup.
The 37-year-old is in his 18th NHL season and has spent his entire professional career with the Kings organization.
Selected 13th overall in the 2003 NHL Draft, Brown has amassed 325 goals, 387 assists and 738 penalty minutes over a span of 1,296 regular season games throughout his career.
The former Kings captain led the franchise to two Stanley Cups in 2012 and 2014, and has played in more games than any other player in franchise history.
