Jack Campbell out at least two weeks with a rib injury
It looks like it’s Petr Mrazek’s time to shine.
The Toronto Maple Leafs announce that All-Star goalie Jack Campbell will be sidelined for a minimum of two weeks due to a rib injury.
In a corresponding move, the team called up netminder Erik Källgren on an emergency basis from the Toronto Marlies (AHL).
Campbell, who has struggled as of late, has put up solid numbers in the final year of his contract. The 30-year old has posted a 24-9-4 record with a .914 save percentage and 2.65 goals-against average over a span of 40 games this season.
He last played on Tuesday vs the Seattle Kraken, allowing four goals on 30 shots in the 6-4 win.
