Islanders ink RFA forward Anthony Beauvillier to a three-year extension
The New York Islanders have locked up an important depth player for another few years.
The team has agreed to re-sign restricted free agent forward Anthony Beauvillier to a three-year, $12.3 million contract extension that has an average annual value of around $4.1 million.
The 24-year old, who was selected 28th overall in the 2015 NHL Draft, posted 15 goals and 13 assists in 47 games this past season.
The Sorel-Tracy, Quebec native will be heading into his sixth campaign with the franchise.
