Canucks ink forward Conor Garland to five-year contract extension
The Vancouver Canucks have locked up their newly acquired forward to a long-term deal.
The team announced that they have signed veteran right winger Conor Garland to a five-year, $24.75 million contract worth an average annual value of $4.95 million.
The 25-year old, who was selected in the second round of the 2015 NHL Draft by the Arizona Coyotes, is coming off a stellar 2020/21 where he amassed 12 goals, and 27 assists in 49 games.
After spending his first three seasons in the desert, he was recently traded alongside Oliver Ekman-Larsson to Vancouver on July 23rd.
